We are pleased to announce we will be doing the Teacher of the Year Award again this year and we will be giving the award to a very special PTA Teacher of the Year. Please share the attached award pages with your Association and your Board Members for input, as this should be a group decision.
We want to let our Teachers know how much we value and appreciate their support. Please send us information about a Teacher at your school that deserves recognition. All nominated Teachers will be invited to come to a very special event in March, time and location TBA.
All Unit Board Members will be invited to attend the event. You should also extend the invitation to the incoming Board Members as well. At this time we would like to ask you to please fill out all of the attached forms and send them to us by the due dates. We look forward to receiving your nomination for your PTA Teacher of the Year!

The following materials must be submitted as your complete Teacher of the Year application:
1. Your signed Application Form
· The teacher or school can help you with specifics like # of years
2. A separate written document with the information requested on the application.
3. Letters of support

Purpose: The purpose of the 14th District PTA Teacher of the Year Award is to acknowledge and honor teachers for exceptional service, and leadership in support of children, families, schools, and communities.
Eligibility: Nominees DO have to be PTA members.
